I have received a Bachelor of Science degree from UW -Stout, with a major in Hospitality Tourism Management. I was employed as a manager in the restaurant industry until things became challenging with the demanding hours and raising a family. In order to have a work and life balance, I made a career change, which began my employment in the financial industry. During my 17+ years in the financial field, I graduated from CUNA Management School at UW- Madison Business School. I’ve held various roles in banks and credit unions which included consumer lending, customer service, marketing, and management. I am excited to continue my passion of helping others while being part of the finance team at Corporate Guardians.

I will be obtaining my Associates in Human Resources and my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work within the next 2 years. I started in the field of mental health in 2008. Since then my journey has gone many different directions. I have worked with developmentally disabled, respite and crisis stays for mental health and with behavioral challenged youth and adults through mentoring in the community. I decided 4 years ago to obtain a foundation in business through schooling and ultimately to obtain a degree in social work. I have found through this field, that my passion is the individuals I serve. I am constantly looking for new things to learn and avenues of life to explore. I consider myself a jack of all trades and master of none. I love my career field and I am excited to work with the CGNEW family. This is a company I respect. I look forward to learning all that I can and being a great advocate for the people I work with. I live by two mottos’. “Nothing is impossible” and “Don’t take anything personally. Always do your best”.
